  • Passengers are greeted at Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris and transferred by coach to Normandy. In the evening there is an introduction to the tour and a chance for the passengers to introduce themselves.

  • We begin the day with a visit to Omaha Beach and the Normandy American Cemetery in Colleville-sur-Mer. We then travel to the town of Arromanches-les-Bains with its remnant Mulberry Harbor. The day continues with a trip to Pointe du Hoc, where Rudder’s Rangers ascended the steep cliffs to take out the long-range artillery firing on the landing beaches.

  • We spend the day exploring Utah Beach and its many monuments. We stop near Brecourt Manor, site of Easy Company’s famous assault on a German artillery position. We then head to Sainte-Mere-Eglise, where John Steele got caught on the steeple of the church. We finish up at the German battery of Longues-sur-Mer, a part of the Atlantic Wall, where the 152 mm guns are still where they were silenced over 70 years ago.

  • After breakfast in Normandy we travel to Belgium with regular stops along the way.

  • We spend the day touring the sites of the Battle of the Bulge. We stop at the Mardasson Monument, which pays tribute to the Allied resolve during this critical period. We also visit the Bastogne Barracks where General McAuliffe’s HQ was during the battle. The foxholes of Bois Jacques are the highlight of the day. There is also a chance to visit the Bastogne War Museum.

  • We pay our respects at the Luxembourg American Cemetery, the final resting place of many 101st paratroopers as well as General George S. Patton, on our way to the city of Munich.

  • In the morning we visit the infamous Dachau Concentration Camp, which features a full-scale museum detailing Nazi atrocities. In the afternoon we tour the city of Munich, the birthplace of the Nazi Party.

  • The day involves a trip to the site of Hitler’s Bavarian retreat: the Eagle’s Nest. You get the chance to head up to the Eagle’s Nest itself and then to explore Dokumentation Obersalzberg, an exhibit set atop the bunker complex that was to serve as the Nazis’ last stand.

  • After saying goodbye our guests are brought to Munich’s Franz Joseph Strauss Airport for their return flights.
