Itinerary

  • Upon arrival in Prague, passengers are greeted at the airport and brought to our hotel. There is an introduction to the tour and a chance to get acquainted over a welcome drink.

  • In the morning we explore Prague's Castle District on a walking tour. We marvel at St. Vitus Cathedral, the Presidential Palace and the amazing crafts of the Golden Lane. Passengers are free to explore the city on their own. There is a lot to see: Prague has several major museums, numerous theaters, galleries, cinemas and other historical exhibits.

  • We start the day in Prague's Old Town and historic center, where the Astronomical Clock is located. As we wind our way through Josefov, the Jewish District, we come to the Vltava and one of its many bridges: Charles Bridge. In the afternoon we head to Krakow, Poland.

  • We travel to the infamous Auschwitz concentration camp. Birkenau, Auschwitz’s notorious extermination camp accounted for the death of more than a million Jews, Roma people, POWs and political opponents from across Europe, and stands as a testament to the greatest atrocity of the 20th Century. The day’s events include a visit to Auschwitz and its piles of personal possessions stripped from the camp’s prisoners. The evening features traveling to Krakow, one of Poland’s most historic and scenic towns.

  • We start the day with a walking tour of the castle district of Krakow. After taking in the historic sites, seeing the Jewish ghetto and the location where Schindler’s List was filmed, the evening is free to explore the city or to rest.

  • We travel through the Slovakian and Hungarian countryside to the beautiful city of Budapest, capital of Hungary and the heart of Central Europe. The journey also takes us through the majestic Tatra Mountains of Slovakia. The evening is free to explore the city or rest up for the next day’s busy schedule.

  • We spend the day exploring the Jewish district and the rich cultural sights of Budapest. We also make our way up Gellert Hill to the Citadel for a beautiful view of the city.

  • We start the day with in the Castle District, where we see the former Royal Palace with an optional visit to the Hospital in the Rock, a secret hospital and nuclear bunker under the Buda Castle. The afternoon offers either free time allowing passengers to venture off on their own or a walking tour in the heart of Pest, focusing on the magnificent building of the Parliament and St. Stephen's Basilica.

  • After saying goodbye, our guests are taken to Ferenc Liszt International Airport of Budapest for their return flights.
